NetVia Group Expands PCB Manufacturing Capabilities with Boffotto P03Q Plasma System

This strategic investment significantly expands NetVia’s process capabilities for micro-electronic surface cleaning and surface modification.

The P03Q-6L Plasma System is specifically engineered for high-precision applications, offering six effective reaction zones and a 70L chamber volume. With its 13.56 MHz power supply and PLC-based human interface, this system enables advanced surface activation and cleaning across a wide variety of materials, including plastic, metal, and glass.

Key Process Enhancements Include:

• Improved Wire Bonding Prep: Enhanced bond pad surface cleaning for reliable microelectronic connections.
• Superior Adhesion for Packaging: Surface activation prior to underfill, encapsulation, or plating.
• Advanced Material Compatibility: Supports processing of O₂, N₂, Ar, and H₂ for tailored surface treatment.
• Increased Throughput: With six reaction zones and a 35 CFM vacuum pump, the system supports higher production volumes with precision consistency.
